It sounds better - or so they say. This is essentially a turntable that you can hook up to your PC. It uses a USB connector to shuttle the audio directly from the pickup to the PC so you don't need to mess around with cables and sound cards. Of course if you are a pro then maybe you like messing around with wires and whatnot but then again this isn't for you.
